It would be unfair to mention any list of UltraWide gaming monitors without mentioning the Acer Predator Gaming X34. It has long been on the very top of the gaming monitors charts and is easily still amongst the top tier of gaming units. The 34-inch QHD screen is easily a 3440 x 1440 monitor allowing you to go genuinely ultra wide.

The monitor has an IPS display and has fantastic color performance, even on the most basic of settings the camera accurately depicts most colors. Additionally, the Nvidia G-sync technology is what truly helps set this PC apart. The G-sync will eliminate all screen stutter and any tearing in the colors. Furthermore, it also allows you to reach a refresh rate of 100Hz. Once you start gaming at such a high refresh rate, you’ll struggle to go back to regular.

Moreover, if you’re using an Nvidia graphics card, you can quickly go into the graphics settings to overclock the GPU to 120Hz. Unlike other monitors, however, you can also access the refresh rate settings from the control panel on the bottom of the monitor.

Additionally, the I/O panel of the monitor also has a regular Display port and an HDMI port.

The slight drawback from the monitor is the incredibly high price. It’s still one of the most expensive monitors on the market, but you’ll undoubtedly get your money’s worth. Furthermore, Acer support isn’t the most cooperating. If you find something wrong with the monitor, it’s unlikely that they’ll be as accommodating as you’d expect from them.

Regardless of the drawbacks, it’s still one of the best ultrawide monitors available on the market.
